12‑Month Rolling Contract | 5 Days Onsite - Bournemouth

A Global Tier‑1 Investment Bank is looking for an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Engineer to join a high‑impact engineering team.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and develop enterprise‑grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, AWS, SQL, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver new features and enhancements.
• Use React, Redux, HTML5, CSS3 with exposure to Jest for front‑end testing.
• Optimise performance and ensure high levels of reliability and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot bottlenecks and resolve defects.
• Maintain clean, organised, and automated codebases.
• Implement strong security and data‑protection measures.
• Contribute across the SDLC, including analysis, testing, and documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to peers.

What You Bring:

• Extensive hands‑on Java engineering experience.
• Strong Java and Spring ecosystem expertise.
• Practical experience with AWS cloud services.
• Front‑end engineering skills with JavaScript, React, Redux.
• Solid SQL/MySQL database capability.
• Experience operating in fast‑paced, enterprise‑scale environments.

Contract Details:

Contract: 12‑month rolling

Location: Bournemouth - Fully onsite (5 days/week)
