Job DescriptionThe primary function of this position is strategic coordination of the President’s schedule. As an integral part of the Office of the President, the Executive Administrative Assistant III provides critical day-to-day support, ensuring a high level of efficiency in calendar management for the President.
Responsibilities- Provide complex calendar management by reviewing and assessing short-term and long-term scheduling priorities for the President.
- Work closely with the President and members of her team to ensure effective time management.
- Prioritize daily and monthly schedules, internal and external meetings, events and travel arrangements with keen attention to detail.
- Ensure timely preparation for meetings and events by collecting and compiling required information and briefing materials.
- Serve as a primary point of contact and intermediary between the President and various internal and external constituencies (faculty, staff, students and members of the public).
- Perform other related administrative duties as assigned.
- Associate of Arts degree. Bachelor’s degree may substitute for years’ experience.
- Six years’ experience providing high-volume scheduling including two years of administrative support for a President/Chief Executive Officer or other senior official at a comparable organization.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities and respond quickly as priorities change.
- Ability to handle high volume of scheduling matters in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build good relationships with peers and to interact with senior administrators and diverse campus constituencies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to collect, compile and organize information and provide summary reports.
- Ability to anticipate needs and work proactively to address problems.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Excellent technological skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and various virtual meeting platforms.
- Ability to leverage technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in calendar management.
- Demonstrated strong commitment to excellence and outstanding customer service.
- Good judgment, appropriate discretion and tact in handling sensitive matters and in interacting with students, staff, public officials and other constituencies.
- Ability to make effective oral presentations and project a professional, polished image in representing the Office of the President.
- Skilled in managing digital filing systems.
- Skills assessment and background check required.
