Job SummaryThe Bath Technical Trainer delivers fundamental technical training to employees, including developing course materials, imparting new skills, and assessing the efficiency of training programs.
Primary Responsibilities- Develop and facilitate technical (installation) training programs specific to the three key installer classifications (Apprentice, New Hire, Existing Lead/Apprentice Installer)
- Provide expertise in best‑in‑class learning strategies, methods, processes, and curriculum for developing workforce capability
- Develop continual education training curriculum to address emerging trends in industry
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert in the identification, design & development of course curriculum and lesson plans within the subject matter areas to be taught
- Manage all aspects of classroom preparation including creating/distributing agendas, product materials, scheduling invitations, managing rosters, and coordinating all appropriate product & system training
- Measure the effectiveness & overall quality of training, including metrics reporting, development of recommendations for improvement, program innovation & competitive analysis/comparison
- Encourage, motivate & inspire others to embrace learning & coach for behavior modification
- Facilitate regularly scheduled advanced training modules to allow completion of certification/apprentice programs
- Assist sales department by delivering product and installation training for new/existing HICs
- Monitor completion, comprehension and retention of content deployed to identify effectiveness & continuous improvement opportunities
- Full‑time
- Office hours: 7:30 am – 3:30 pm
- Travel requirements: 50%
- May be required to travel or attend meetings outside of normal work hours
- Strong decision‑making, organizational & communication skills
- Superior installation acumen
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong ability to motivate, inspire, and coach others to exceptional performance levels
- Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
- Ability to travel as needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience conducting/leading training, including OJT/coaching, in‑home remodeling environment preferred
- 3+ years of experience working in home remodeling installations
