Job Description Responsibilities
  • Teaches undergraduate and graduate level courses in Public Health Informatics and other related courses.
  • Contributes to the academic and service programs of the department through research, student advising and mentoring, as well as committee service at the Department, College and University levels.
  • Strong educational credentials and evidence in teaching, research and services in public health informatics, public information systems and data analytics are desirable.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Ph.D., DNP, DIT and other doctorates in Public Health Informatics or highly related field, or a Ph.D., DNP, DHA in public health with extensive working experience in informatics and have additional certifications in Information Technology and Systems by the date of the appointment is required.
  • Applicants must show the potential or have experience in teaching and advisement at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
  • Must have a strong ability and commitment to embrace innovative teaching and technology applications in the classroom.
