The role supports delivery of major water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects in the metro Washington, D.C. area. You’ll provide technical leadership, oversee project delivery, manage budgets and schedules, and serve as the primary client contact to ensure excellence in every phase of project execution.
Beyond project delivery, you’ll play a key role in business development, marketing strategies, and client engagement, with opportunities to shape win strategies and pricing for new work. This position also offers mentoring responsibilities and collaboration with leaders across the Southeast Region.
Our Hybrid Work Model: Be part of a dynamic culture with a hybrid model, combining in-office collaboration and flexibility. In-office presence is recommended three days a week.
Responsibilities- Lead project teams, manage budgets and schedules, and serve as the primary client contact for major water and wastewater projects.
- Drive business development, marketing strategies, and client engagement; contribute to win strategies and pricing for new work.
- Mentor team members, recruit top talent, and collaborate with regional leaders.
- Apply engineering and project management best practices to deliver successful outcomes in water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with client objectives.
- Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Maryland and/or Virginia preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in planning, design and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure and/or treatment facilities (at least 5 years serving clients in metro-Washington D.C. and surrounding area a plus)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to develop, mentor and lead professional technical staff
- Business development, proposal preparation, and marketing skills preferred; flexible and able to meet challenging deadlines

Salary range: $103,500-$172,500 based on experience and location
