OverviewWe’re looking for an Electrical Engineering Project Manager to join our growing Property & Buildings group serving the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. In this pivotal role you’ll deliver creative, tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients while managing multi-discipline projects from concept to completion. You’ll engage with internal teams and external stakeholders, overseeing every aspect of project delivery—including scope, budget, schedule, quality, safety, and profitability.
You’ll also play a key role in preparing proposals and RFQs for new opportunities.

Responsibilities- Manage multi-discipline projects on time and within budget while exceeding client expectations.
- Oversee every aspect of project delivery—including scope, budget, schedule, quality, safety, and profitability.
- Prepare proposals and RFQs for exciting new opportunities.
- Build strong relationships across our Southeast Business Groups of Environment, Water, Transportation, and Engineering Design to support existing GHD clients in the Property & Buildings space.
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- PE license, multiple states preferred or NCEES Record Holder.
- 7-15 years of electrical power generation, distribution and utilization system projects’ design experience for the public and/or private sector; previous consulting experience preferred.
- Strong project management skills, managing multi-disciplinary projects on time and within budget, while exceeding client expectations.
- Federal Government DoD and civilian agencies’ project and client experience a plus.
- Active member of relevant industry associations and communities preferred.
- Deep technical knowledge of electrical generation, distribution and utilization systems.
- Proven experience delivering large, complex projects in the property, buildings or utilities sectors.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- 401(k) – Employees are eligible to participate on the first day of the month following 3 months of service.

$113,000 - $188,000 based on experience and location.
