Registered Nurse - Surgery Center

National Spine & Pain Centers is seeking a Full‑Time PACU RN to join our team of highly trained, caring professionals at our surgery center in Bowie.

Schedule: Monday – Friday (no weekends, holidays, or on‑call);
Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, flexible;
PACU experience highly preferred.

• Assess patient’s preoperative and postoperative status at intervals according to facility or health care organization policies and procedures.
• Interpret information accurately from various noninvasive and invasive monitors.
• Evaluate the patient’s progress toward attaining outcomes utilizing relevant scoring systems/discharge criteria (e.g. Aldrete Score, Post Anesthesia Discharge Scoring System) as defined by organizational policy.

• A valid MD Registered Nurse license, or Compact State license.
• Current BLS and ACLS (or able to obtain ACLS within 30 days of employment).
• Knowledge of EMR systems and technologies.
• The capacity to work in a fast‑paced and demanding environment, while demonstrating resourcefulness and proactivity.
