Description
National Spine & Pain Centers is seeking a Full-Time PACU RN to join our team of highly trained, caring professionals at our surgery center in Bowie.
Schedule and Hours- Schedule:
Monday – Friday (no weekends, holidays, or on-call) - Hours:
8:00am-4:30pm, flexible hours - PACU experience highly preferred
- Assess patient’s preoperative and postoperative status at intervals according to facility or health care organization policies and procedures.
- Interpret information accurately from various noninvasive and invasive monitors.
- Evaluate the patient’s progress toward attaining outcomes utilizing relevant scoring systems/discharge criteria (e.g. Aldrete Score, Post Anesthesia Discharge Scoring System) as defined by organizational policy.

Requirements- A valid MD Registered Nurse license, or Compact State license.
- Current BLS and ACLS (or able to obtain ACLS within 30 days of employment)
- Knowledge of EMR systems and technologies
- The capacity to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, while demonstrating resourcefulness and proactivity.
