This posting is to pre‑hire, certify, and train nurses who are interested in working within and around Prince George’s County public schools, so you are ready on standby the moment an opportunity presents itself! Candidates who complete onboarding earliest will receive first consideration for these positions.

Expected Start: Beginning of January

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 4 hours (approximately 8 am - 12 pm; times may vary)
• Bus rides are included. Nurse must be comfortable traveling with their student

• Seizure Precaution
• G-tubes
• Med Admin
• Asthma & Respiratory Treatment
• Suctioning (Oral)

Minimum Requirements:

• Maryland State or Multi-State LPN nursing license (active, unencumbered)
• Current CPR/BLS
• Current negative TB
• MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF APPLIED LPN EXPERIENCE

• Prolonged standing; repositioning; ambulation support
• Lifting up to 60 lbs
• Working around young children (play, standing, sitting); assisting with daily routines
