Unarmed Security Guard-Bowie, MD

New Age Protection, Inc. is seeking a skilled, professional Unarmed Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong observational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to maintain a secure and safe environment for staff, visitors, and the public. This position requires a Maryland Security Guard License.

Shifts:

• Conduct interior and exterior patrols, including parking areas, restrooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces.
• Respond promptly to disturbances and safety concerns.
• Maintain a daily duty log and submit a monthly report.
• Check in with the Captain in Charge and the Information Desk Staff at the start of each shift.
• Report security violations (unless an emergency).
• Perform closing procedures and complete a final sweep of all areas.

• Active Maryland Security Guard License.
• Minimum 1 year of security experience, including 6 months working with the public.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, alertness, and professionalism.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods, bend, stoop, walk stairs, run if required, and demonstrate basic self-defense to protect yourself or others.
