Works under general supervision of the foreman and is responsible to assure the proper, safe, efficient, timely completion of landscape installation projects.

• Valid driver license (a plus).
• Some ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend Spanish (a plus).
• Mathematical skills (basic to intermediate math).
• Ability to define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail.

• Interpretation of blueprints, schematics, specifications, materials, take‑offs, and build/controller charts.
• Layout, installation, piping and control wiring.
• Installation of landscape, paths, fences, courtyards, structures.
• Operation, care, use and maintenance of all hand tools, power tools and construction equipment related to trade.
• Application of methods and techniques for handling, distributing, storage and delivery of material and equipment.
• Soil amendments, treatment and tilling.
• Layout, installation and establishment of plants, trees, shrubs, ground covers, turf, plant identification, etc.
• Application of job safety, rigging and moving loads.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Constantly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand and walk safely on construction sites, including uneven ground.
• Must be able to see at close, distant, periphery, have depth perception and adjust focus.
• Frequent use of hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Duties performed outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. of weight frequently throughout the day.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, lift, push and pull materials and equipment to complete tasks.
• Ability to frequently work in various positions (standing, walking, stooping, bending, sitting, kneeling, squatting) for extended periods.

$20.00/hr – $25.00/hr (base pay). Compensation may vary based on skills and experience.
