OverviewKelley Construction is a multi‑faceted commercial and industrial general contractor licensed to perform work in many states across the United States. We offer a wealth of technical expertise in all areas of commercial construction including restaurants, medical facilities, warehousing, fast‑food chains, large design‑build expansions and general office renovation. We also have broad experience in industrial construction, from liquid storage and containment and petroleum‑related construction to pre‑engineered metal buildings and concrete construction.
Job Duties- Maintain responsible construction schedule and budget
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities with documentation such as work permits, preconstruction risk assessments, infection control risk assessments, etc.
- Maintain a safe jobsite for all Kelley Construction and subcontractor employees
- Represent the company as Best‑in‑Class in job meetings with owners, architects, subcontractors, and inspectors
- Ability to effectively use different computer software to complete daily tasks such as expense approval for receipts, pictures, email, site management, time entry, etc.
- Communicate with Kelley Construction office and project manager regarding jobsite requirements to maintain productivity, quality, and schedule
- All other duties assigned by Field Operations Director
- 5 years of healthcare construction experience as a superintendent is strongly desired
- Ability to effectively communicate professionally with all personnel, clients, customers, and architects
- Strong managerial skills
- Experience in concrete, framing and finish carpentry
- Familiarity with computers and ability to use company software
- Must be able to work in the U.S. and possess a valid driver’s license
- Team player
- Willing to train proper candidates of the next generation
- Must be able to travel
- Ensuring that safety practices are followed on the job site
- Ability to follow instructions, read and interpret instructions
Ability to lift and carry up to 90 lbs. Must be able to climb and work from heights. Individual must be able to work in inclement weather conditions. Will be required to work around wood dust and fumes.
