Opening for Hematology/Oncology Physician in Bowling Green, Kentucky Full Time Permanent Position Seeking  Hematology/Oncology Physician to join team in Bowling Green, KYThe hospital-based medical oncology practice currently has three physicians with strong internal referrals from multiple specialties including radiation-oncology, neurosurgery, ENT, pulmonology, thoracic surgery, urology, gynecology, gynecology-oncology, surgical-oncology, and general surgery.

Opportunity Highlights:

Excellent Support Staff: APRNs (2), dedicated nurse navigator, social worker, dietician, pharmacist, and clinical/administrative professionals

Desirable Call

Schedule:

1:4 shared call among group

Full inpatient hospitalist service for inpatient admissions

Established breast clinic and lung nodule clinic for streamlined workup of new cancer patients

On-site chemotherapy and outpatient infusion center with 30 chairs combined, plus additional locations

Emphasis on team-based, collaborative care, with leadership and professional development opportunities

Teaching opportunities with residents and medical students

Affiliation with University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center Affiliate Network (MCCAN) for clinical trials and collaboration
