This Graduate Engineer position offers an exciting opportunity to develop technical expertise and leadership skills within a global health and hygiene company. You will participate in a structured training program and gain hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, continuous improvement, and process optimization. This role is based in our Bowling Green facility and includes a 3-month Graduate Engineer Training Program in Hoogezand, Netherlands.

• Safety & Housekeeping Leadership: Lead by example and actively participate in safety and housekeeping improvement initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement Projects: Drive projects that enhance productivity, quality, and safety, ensuring proper prioritization and execution.
• Production Skills Development: Learn troubleshooting techniques and gain expert knowledge of the product supply industry.
• Technical Mastery: Improve technical skills through the Manufacturing Academy and targeted learning opportunities.
• Process Control & TPM: Work on key areas to ensure efficient and reliable production processes.
• Networking: Build a professional network by connecting with peers and other graduate engineers across Essity.
• Data Analysis: Observe production processes, collect and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong interest in manufacturing operations and continuous improvement.
• Ability to learn and apply technical concepts quickly; familiarity with process control and TPM is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with a proactive mindset.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
