Warren RECC is Kentucky’s largest TVA electric distribution cooperative, serving over 70,000 members in 8 counties. Founded in 1938, the cooperative continues to be locally run and serves its community’s mission of ensuring prosperity.
As part of a team of 160 employees, the Electrical Engineer provides engineering services—under supervision—to support planning, construction, operation, and maintenance of Warren RECC’s transmission, substation, and distribution systems. Work involves using spreadsheets, word processors, databases, and engineering analysis software. Daily interactions include the Manager of Engineering, Field Engineering Supervisor, and Operations department staff.
Work schedule:
8 hours a day, 5 days a week, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Additional hours may be required. The position reports to the corporate office at 951 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, KY 42101.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Practical experience in design and troubleshooting of power systems
- Problem‑solving experience in a team environment
- Leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Utility experience desired
