Plant Systems Integrator
Hill's Pet Nutrition is seeking a Plant Systems Integrator to serve as the heartbeat of our facility's manufacturing systems, ensuring the seamless integration of network infrastructure and core applications. The role focuses on leading critical system upgrades, cybersecurity initiatives, and driving digital transformation while maintaining high operational reliability.

Responsibilities- Spearhead all manufacturing system integration activities and lead capital projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring strict adherence to Global IT and Plant Systems standards.
- Plan, implement and upgrade manufacturing servers, databases, and hardware (Thin Clients, SQL Servers, UPS systems) to maintain high operational reliability.
- Manage upgrades to manufacturing applications (MES, SQL, Thin manager, Server OS, Wonderware and other critical applications).
- Configure industrial digital protocols using PLCs and automation systems while designing real‑time KPI dashboards with tools such as SQL Reporting Services or Domo.
- Coordinate Global IT Cybersecurity initiatives and maintain site‑level compliance.
- Advocate for data accuracy across manufacturing applications, including ERP (SAP) interactions and SQL data exchanges.
- Liaise with Global IT and regional teams to roll out policy upgrades.
- Lead by example in safety (EHS) and quality (GMP/Food Safety) while demonstrating leadership principles.
- B.S. degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering, technology management, or database administration.
- Minimum 3 years directly supporting an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Proven proficiency in managing manufacturing server infrastructure (Windows Server, Active Directory, Thin Clients, UPS).
- Ability to follow safety protocols (EHS) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) while adhering to IT compliance standards.
- M.S. or M.B.A. degree.
- Experience with specialized manufacturing software (MES, MII, OPERA, Thin manager, Rockwell Asset Center).
- Strong experience with SAP, Wonderware, MES, MII and Rockwell Asset Center.
- Proficiency in SAP, managing IDocs and critical data interactions between ERP and manufacturing applications.
- Technical knowledge of industrial digital techniques and protocols (PLCs, RFID, Date Coders, control system digital logic).
- Experience administering SQL Server and manufacturing databases; designing Plant KPI dashboards using SQL Reporting Services or visualization tools (Domo).
Salary Range: $83,200 – $125,000 USD. Pay is determined by experience, qualifications, and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, 401(k) matching, 15 vacation/PTO days (120 hours for hourly), 13 paid holidays, and paid sick leave per local law.
