We are currently seeking a SAP LE SCM Practice Lead to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Role OverviewThe SAP SCM Practice Lead is responsible for leading the Supply Chain Management (SCM) practice within the SAP domain, driving strategic growth, delivery excellence, and innovation across SAP SCM solutions. This role combines technical depth in SAP SCM (including S/4
HANA, IBP, EWM, TM, PP, MM, and APO) with leadership, business development, and client advisory capabilities.
The ideal candidate is an experienced SAP professional who can build and scale a high-performing practice, shape solution offerings, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients embarking on supply chain transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Practice Leadership & StrategyDefine and execute the strategic roadmap for the SAP SCM practice, aligning with organizational goals.
Build reusable assets, accelerators, and frameworks to enhance delivery efficiency.
Collaborate with SAP and ecosystem partners to stay current with product innovations and certifications.
Develop go-to-market strategies and service offerings for SAP SCM.
Lead pre-sales efforts: proposal development, solution design, estimations, and RFP responses.
Engage with CXOs and supply chain leaders to position SAP SCM as a digital transformation enabler.
Identify and drive new business opportunities in existing and new accounts.
Support client workshops, demos, and design sessions.
Oversee successful delivery of SAP SCM projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Provide governance, best practices, and risk management for ongoing projects.
Partner with project managers to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction.
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of SAP SCM consultants and architects.
Develop training programs and certification roadmaps for team members.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Represent the organization in SAP and industry forums, conferences, and webinars.
Publish whitepapers, case studies, and thought leadership content on SCM transformation.
Track and evaluate emerging technologies (AI/ML in SCM, automation, analytics) relevant to SAP SCM.
Experience: 12+ years of overall SAP experience, with at least 5+ years in leadership or practice management roles.
Functional Expertise: Strong hands‑on experience in SAP SCM modules — IBP, EWM, TM, PP, MM, or APO.
Implementation Exposure: At least 3 full lifecycle SAP implementations.
Leadership
Skills:
Proven ability to build, lead, and grow consulting teams.Business Acumen: Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and industry dynamics.
Client Management: Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
Certifications: SAP SCM / S/4
HANA certifications preferred.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA preferred.
