Performs all aspects of icing and decorating cake, packaging finished product, and changeover activities to maintain world‑class quality and support the plant’s Safety, Quality & Reliability (SQR) goals. • Operate and maintain assigned machines and related equipment to meet daily orders.
• Finish icing, garnishing, or decorating cakes to specified standards.
• Manually disassemble and assemble equipment.
• Participate in product change‑over activities to keep equipment sanitized and allergen‑free.
• Assist in hand‑packing and hand‑stacking product or cases.
• Safely operate material‑handling equipment and cardboard baler.
• Follow all standard work processes.
• Verify proper components at the workstation before starting a job.
• Monitor product to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.
• Complete “If down, do” list when appropriate.
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and legibly.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Actively participate in Total Process Control activities.
• Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF 2000 Systems.

• Accountable to the Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic math skills.
• Effective written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Flexible to rotate to any station on the line.
