Marketing and Business Development Administrator - Cayman Islands

Overview of role

We are inviting applications from enthusiastic and talented candidates for a new role within our Marketing and Business Development team in the Cayman Islands. This role would suit someone who is ambitious and looking for a dynamic opportunity to develop their skills and build a career in Marketing & Business Development.

Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

Marketing and Business Development Administrator

Marketing

Salary Range US $60,000 - US $70,000

  • Coordinating client and market research to feed into marketing and business development plans as it relates to specific market segments, company types and industries
  • Coordination of international marketing trips, including researching targets and meeting venues, maintaining trip itineraries and assisting with travel arrangements
  • Preparation of pitches, presentations, and other marketing collateral for use at client meetings, seminars or conferences
  • Development and maintenance of CRM data for the firm's newsletters, alerts, invitations, and other direct marketing pieces
  • Supporting the preparation of directory submissions, client references, and awards nominations
  • Coordination of the marketing and business development master schedule for the Americas region
  • Processing of all vendor invoices for the Americas region
  • On-the-ground support for events and conferences including coordination of client gift bags and other merchandise
  • Responsible for the coordination of client gifts
Education, Skills & Experience
  • Educated to degree level from a recognised university
  • Able to demonstrate a commitment to developing a career in Marketing & Business Development
  • A strong written and verbal communicator with native-level English language proficency
  • A quick learner and self-starter, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Organised and able to manage and deliver to strict deadlines
  • Competent in the MS Office suite and have a good working knowledge of social media channels
  • Keen interest in marketing and business development trends
  • Able and willing to work outside normal working hours/days on occasion
  • Previous experience in a marketing team and/or professional or financial Services environment would be an advantage.
