OverviewThe Pediatric Nurse is responsible for managing the care of pediatric patients, according to their individual needs and care plan using a multidisciplinary approach. The nurse provides direct client care with a holistic focus on the child and family, addressing educational, psychosocial, behavioral, physical, mental, and emotional needs.
The Kidz Club PPEC provides daily skilled nursing care for children, ages birth to under 21, with medical complexities. PPECs initiate daily communication among pediatricians, therapists, and families, providing continuity of care through case management, skilled nursing, and enrichment for the child.

Responsibilities(

- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current nursing licensure eligible in the state of Kentucky.
- Recent graduate with a provisional license
- Basic personal computer skills and comfort with learning electronic charting systems
- Preferred:
At least six months of current experience as a practicing nurse with pediatric experience - Current CPR (Basic Life Support) is required
- Ability to travel between three Louisville locations
