Clinical Nurse Supervisor​/Nurse Educator

• Full-time exempt position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
• Monday-Friday, and as needed to oversee the operations of the department
• Direct, supervise and evaluate work activities of nursing and clerical personnel.
• Participate in recruiting, hiring, orientation and competency of staff.
• Provide support to patients, families and physician addressing concerns.
• Develop and implement organizational policies and procedures for the departments.
• Responsible for the mentoring and development of staff including delivery of employee evaluations and monthly staff rounding in collaboration with the Director of Acute Care/ED.
• Lead orientation and mentor nurse residency candidates.
• Design and run training session on new equipment/protocols.
• Required: Associate's Degree in nursing
• Required:Current BLS certification
• Preferred:Bachelor's Degree in nursing
• Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and EPIC
