PARKS FACILITY MAINTAINER II

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:- Operate trucks, tractors, mowers, loaders, and hand tools to maintain outdoor athletic grounds and facilities.
- Lead maintenance tasks including painting, field prep, landscaping, mowing, and concrete work (including turf maintenance).
- Assist with custodial duties and trash removal.
- Handle landscaping tasks such as trimming, pruning, mulching, and storm cleanup.
- Maintain records, prepare reports, and coordinate with facility users.
- Attend meetings and required training sessions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED, with 1 year of vocational school preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience operating light & medium equipment (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Must be able to obtain KY State Pesticide License within one year.
- Pay Grade G3; $47,194 annually
- 40 hrs. a week;
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 p.m.; occasional overtime
