Quality Control Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Pay RangeBase salary: $58,000.00 per year
Position OverviewSupervises the Quality Control process and technicians to support and verify ongoing compliance with internal and external quality standards and requirements.
Essential Functions- Ensure customers’ quality requirements are met and internal quality standards are fulfilled.
- Perform constant physical activities throughout shift (standing, walking, bending, etc.) and handle aluminum products up to 50 lbs.
- Manage time, attendance, discipline, workforce requirements, and coverage of the QC section.
- Act as a “floating” Quality Technician to cover gaps.
- Perform internal process audits as required.
- Inspect parts in production for defects and maintain records.
- Train employees, monitor training effectiveness, evaluate skill levels, and develop QA technicians.
- Create and distribute internal quality alerts.
- Oversee measuring equipment and instrumentation, ensuring proper function, care, and storage.
- Support calibration program compliance per company procedures.
- Assist with supplier and customer PPAP processes.
- Coordinate internal sorting processes to meet quality and production delivery requirements.
- Complete audits (LPA, Safety, PPE, etc.) as assigned.
- Perform other duties as required.
3 to 5 years of experience reading details and schematics, organizing, supervising, computing, mathematical, and statistical skills.

Education RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent; college degree in a technical field preferred. Prior Quality Technician experience (3-5 years).

- Environment – production office setting, able to work in extreme temperatures.
- Driving – occasionally, up to 1 or more hours per day.
