Job Description
Professional level commercial parts sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth via customer retention and expansion, partnering with the GM to manage team members, and maintaining expert automotive system and part knowledge. Full‑time.
Primary Responsibilities- Maintain commercial customer relationships
- Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
- Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
- Supervise Team Members and provide day‑to‑day support
- Coach and develop Team Members in collaboration with GM
- Dispatch drivers to ensure delivery standards
- Maintain commercial stocking programs
- Build and maintain a network of second‑source suppliers
- Maintain core bank and commercial returns
- Maintain commercial credit accounts
- Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage
Job Skills & Qualifications
- Working knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics (engine, suspension, brakes, electronics, exhaust, etc.)
- English proficiency;
Spanish a plus; strong communication skills - Ability to read and interpret technical documents
- Basic math skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Organizational skills and multi‑tasking ability
- Understanding of commercial profitability concepts; ability to work with Commercial Account Manager on pricing
- Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Minimum 3 years automotive parts experience preferred
- Sales experience with customer transaction fulfillment
- Experience supervising teams and driving results
- High school diploma or GED; ASE P2 certification preferred but not required
Predominantly walking or standing; frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds; exposure to weather, moving parts, chemicals, vibration, noise; necessary vision and communication abilities.
Position is eligible for sales commission based on individual or store performance.
