Job Description
  • Serve as an ambassador for campus when interacting and assisting customers and the general public.
  • Issue citations to vehicles parked in violation of parking regulations.
  • Immobilize and/or tow vehicles as warranted.
  • Direct traffic and assist with special events as needed.
  • Evaluate condition of parking lots. Report maintenance needs.
  • Recommend improvements to parking regulations and operations as related to their area of responsibility in the department.
  • Provide support in the field to the Special Events Manager in implementing large special event parking operations. This may include equipment management, data collection, traffic management and cash handling.
  • Report aging, unreadable or missing signs.
  • Conduct periodic space inventory surveys.
  • Perform maintenance on parking equipment as needed.
  • Support Logistics units (Procurement, Surplus, Post Office) as needed per request of management.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Must have a valid drivers license and be approved to operate University vehicles.
  • Demonstrate technical aptitude and the ability to learn how to work with and troubleshoot simple mechanical and electronic equipment.
  • Prior work experience should include two years of customer service and/or working directly with the public.
Additional Information

Hourly Rate: $14.00
