Position Description

Immediately Hiring a Dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Driver in Bowling Green, KY for Ryder.

• Weekly Guaranteed $1230 per week.
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.48 per Mile with 2500 Miles per Week.
• Solo Stops Pay: $12.00 per Stop with 5 Stops per Week.
• Drop and Hook Pay: $6.00 per Drop/Hook.
• Sign On Bonus: $1000 at 30 days and $1000 at 90 days.
• Shutdown Bonus: $2000 in 2 installments.
• Safety Bonus: $250 per Quarter (if applicable).
• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday.
• Start Time: open to AM or PM based on bid system.

• Deliver SOLO to KY & TN.
• Route:
  Local Home Daily.
• Tractor Type:
  Day Cab.
• Trailer:
  Dry Van 53’.
• Freight:
  No Touch – Auto Parts.
• Strong Backing Skills Required.
• Trucks 36 months or newer, 24/7 roadside maintenance, fuel at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

• Uniforms and Boot Allowance provided.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass Ryder drug test.
• Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification for last 3 years.
• Pass DOT physical.
• Pass Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Class A experience: 9 months within last 3 years, or 2 years within last 5 years, or 5 years within last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures.

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Loading/unloading freight or assistance as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
