Field Technician

MAAKIL Group is looking for detail-oriented field technicians with or without experience to help us with construction projects throughout northwest Ohio. Must be willing to learn on the job and travel when needed to different job sites.

Responsibilities

Field technicians may be responsible for assisting in testing soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregate as needed for the construction projects. They also may need to be able to observe and document construction projects as needed per supervisor.

Qualifications

Experience in Construction preferred

Need to work well on a team, or on your own

Need to be detail oriented and organized

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Ability to multitask and shift priorities at a moment's notice

Flexibility and willingness to modify schedule as required to meet deadlines

Basic math and computer skills required

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Hold previous certificates in ACI, ODOT Asphalt Level 1, 2 or 3

Good driving record

Must be 21 or over to apply

This is a physical job, that requires one to be able to stand, walk, push, pull, twist, reach overhead, bend, crawl and climb. You must also be able to lift a minimum of 80 pounds.
