The treatment coordinator reports to the Practice Administrator and is tasked with helping patients understand their treatment needs, advocating for affordable care, and building strong patient relationships. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, following up on unscheduled treatment, collaborating with the dentist to determine the best treatment plan, and ensuring patient comfort and informed decision‑making.

- Become 5‑star certified to receive new patient phone calls.
- Responsible for the new patient process for all new patients.
- Take x‑rays and use intra‑oral camera as needed.
- Educate patients and discuss treatment plans.
- Help patients maximize benefits and perform insurance benefit checks.
- Present financial options, work with patients to secure arrangements, and accept payments.
- Stay knowledgeable about available financial options.
- Follow sequence for unscheduled appointments.
- Report numbers to the practice administrator.
- Explain, promote, and adhere to practice payment policies and procedures.
- Support the business team member with duties requiring assistance.
