MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST/UROLOGY - Bowling Green OH, M-F (8:30-5:00) — The Toledo Clinic is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist to provide front office support in a busy Urology department. Hours are Monday-Friday (8:30 - 5:00).

• Answering phones - courteously and professionally.
• Scheduling appointments, lab tests, surgeries, etc.
• Verifying referrals and/or pre-certifications.
• Updating insurance information.
• Answering general patient questions.
• Taking messages accurately and relaying to appropriate personnel.
• Collecting co-pays.
• Preparing and/or submitting charge tickets.
• Preparing and cleaning exam rooms.
• Sorting, filing and scanning patient charts.
• Other duties as assigned.

• HS diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication, phone, and organizational skills.
• Computer skills helpful.
• Consistently arrives at work in professional attire, on time, and completes all tasks within established time frame.
• Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
• Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.

• Previous clerical experience in a medical office
• Medical-related coursework
