Assist in the development and evaluation of a technology tool. Students will gain hands‑on experience working with emerging AI technologies, software development, and applied research in a real‑world professional environment.

- Set up a self-hosted language model environment
- Build retrieval over the news media archive and style guide
- Develop a user-friendly interface
- Instrument and evaluate the tool
- Deploy the tool for newsroom use
- Contribute to project reports and showcase presentations
- Current BGSU undergraduate Computer Science, Software Engineering, or AI+X student
- Strong programming skills
- Interest in artificial intelligence and software development
