Responsibilities
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technicianis responsible for the ongoing maintenance of industrial heat treating furnaces, vacuum washers, Caubet coating lines, and general building maintenance.
Duties include:
- machine troubleshooting and maintenance
- metal fabrication/welding
- pipe fitting
Hours are: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with some flexibility. There is a $1.25/hr shift differential for all hours worked between 5 pm and 5 am. Some overtime as needed. There will be occassional travel to customer locations as is required. A valid driver's license is mandatory.
QualificationsThe successful candidate will have:
- A high school education or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical competence.
- Candidates with heavy electrical will be given preference.
- Basic math comprehension skills.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- 10 years experience in a maintenance tech role in a production environment.
- Ability and willingness to work OT and weekends, as needed.
- Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting, repetitive motion bending and stretching, and standing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion, with assistance.
- Minimal electrical knowledge required.
- A minimum of 5 years maintenance experience with machinery.
- Valid drivers license required.
Starting rate is from $32+/hr. Higher rates would depend upon experience. Benefits package with a zero deductible health care plan, dental, vision, short and long term disability, 401(k), PTO.
