Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technicianis responsible for the ongoing maintenance of industrial heat treating furnaces, vacuum washers, Caubet coating lines, and general building maintenance.

Duties include:

• machine troubleshooting and maintenance
• metal fabrication/welding
• pipe fitting

Hours are: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with some flexibility. There is a $1.25/hr shift differential for all hours worked between 5 pm and 5 am. Some overtime as needed. There will be occassional travel to customer locations as is required. A valid driver's license is mandatory.

The successful candidate will have:

• A high school education or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical competence.
• Candidates with heavy electrical will be given preference.
• Basic math comprehension skills.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• 10 years experience in a maintenance tech role in a production environment.
• Ability and willingness to work OT and weekends, as needed.
• Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting, repetitive motion bending and stretching, and standing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion, with assistance.
• Minimal electrical knowledge required.
• A minimum of 5 years maintenance experience with machinery.
• Valid drivers license required.

Starting rate is from $32+/hr. Higher rates would depend upon experience. Benefits package with a zero deductible health care plan, dental, vision, short and long term disability, 401(k), PTO.
