Overview  Great opportunity for an experienced Health Safety & Environment Manager who likes spending time where the action is; building bridges between management and operations. The HSE Manager Service Poultry is responsible for supporting the Sales and Service organisation of Poultry in safety and well-being of our employees and our customers. The HSE manager Service will be responsible for developing and implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and providing guidance to foster a secure working environment.

The focus of this role in JBT Marel is on field service activities whether part of a new installation or part of servicing an existing installation of JBT Marel Poultry customers. This role involves supporting multiple sites and teams in EMEA and may require travel and stays away from home.

Key Responsibilities   Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with JBT standards and applicable safety regulations and standards.
Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and provide recommendations for prevention.
Promote a strong safety culture by organizing training sessions and safety awareness programs for field service employees and work order recipients.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive safety initiatives and continuous improvement.
Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training, and compliance documentation.
Stay informed about local and national safety regulations and industry best practices.
Assist with the strategic development of the Global Health, Safety, and Environmental activities for Field Service work and support the design and implementation of the global HSE policies.
Demonstrates leadership, including the ability to collaborate with and influence all parts of the business, as well as offering innovative solutions toward health, safety, and environmental improvements and challenges.
Support and manage written HSE business programs (for Field Service/Customer relationships) to embed continuous improvement to reduce occupational injuries, illnesses, litigation, and financial losses.
Education, Knowledge and Experience   Relevant safety qualification
International experience in Health & Safety management preferable at an OEM organization
Knowledge of international HSE standards and directions
Minimum of at least 5 years’ experience in Health, Safety and Environment, of which at least 2 years are in service environment
Working knowledge in Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems, Environmental Discharges, Incident Command System, Incident Investigation, HSE Auditing Techniques
Professional knowledge in ISO 45001 and 14001
Excellent communication skills
Knowledgeable about the most stringent legislation
Excellent English skills. Ability to read, analyze, interpret and communicate complex information in written and spoken form. Able to confidently communicate with both external and internal stakeholders at every level of the company

Experience with and comfort working in multi-cultural, multi-discipline organization is an advantage
