In this role you’ll ensure safety is fully embedded in daily operations, improving the HSE Management System and driving compliance, regulatory coordination and preventive activities.

• Drive the execution and improvement of HSE practices across our Boxmeer facilities.
• Act as the designated Preventiemedewerker and ensure compliance with Dutch HSE/ARBO and environmental legislation.
• Partner with operational teams to identify risks and implement practical safety improvements on the work floor.
• Drive a proactive safety culture through coaching, engagement and visible leadership.
• Investigate incidents and use insights to strengthen preventive actions.
• Coordinate audits, inspections and regulatory interactions, ensuring full compliance and readiness.

We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, connects easily with operational teams and translates HSE requirements into practical actions. The role requires presence in Boxmeer five days per week initially, with possibility to move toward a more balanced setup.

• A bachelor's degree in HSE, Engineering or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in operational, laboratory or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch HSE/ARBO and environmental legislation.
• Experience with HSE management systems, risk assessments and compliance processes.
• Confidence to work independently and influence stakeholders across different levels.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English and ability to work closely with teams on‑site.

• HVK (or equivalent) qualification.
• Experience in R&D, lab or pilot plant environments.
• Exposure to behavioural safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
