About the Role
We are seeking a detail-driven, highly organized Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist with strong experience in the construction industry
. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and fully compliant documentation for our projects. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with project teams, and take pride in precision, this position is an excellent fit.
- Prepare and process construction billing
, including progress billings and final invoices. - Generate and track AIA billing documents (G702/G703) with accuracy and timeliness.
- Issue, collect, and manage lien releases
, ensuring all required documentation is in place for funding and project closeout. - Prepare and submit Notice to Owners (NTOs) and handle all related compliance documentation.
- Monitor customer accounts for payment status, aging, and reconciliation.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients regarding billing accuracy and outstanding balances.
- Maintain meticulous documentation and electronic records in accordance with company policies.
- Assist with month-end AR reporting, audits, and account analysis.
- Support process improvements to streamline billing and collections workflows.
- 2-5 years of Accounts Receivable experience in the construction industry required.
- Strong knowledge of AIA documentation, lien release processes, and NTO requirements
. - Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Sage, Viewpoint, Procore) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and adapt to changing project needs.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset.
