This position is primarily responsible for working directly with customers and staff, providing courteous, friendly, and professional assistance. Good organizational, interpersonal, scheduling, and professional phone skills are necessary. The role requires full‑time employment (40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) at the Boynton Beach location. Longer hours, evenings, and weekends may be necessary on occasion.
Pay: up to $18.75 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Serve as the primary receptionist; answer and direct incoming phone calls using a multi‑line phone system, take messages, and provide general information.
- Greet and direct visitors; answer routine inquiries and monitor visitor access.
- Responsible for open and close procedures each day.
- Open, read, route, and distribute incoming mail and other material; answer routine letters.
- Complete correspondence and use appropriate formats in accordance with company procedures.
- Perform a variety of typing and data entry assignments; prepare and print routine correspondence, letters, labels, and/or other basic written material.
- Support program operations and other departments as necessary.
- Prepare bulk mailings.
- Make copies of materials as requested; oversee day‑to‑day operation of copy machine; prepare and transmit facsimiles.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of administrative office experience.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
- Proficient typing skills.
- Tech savvy: experience with cloud‑based systems, iOS, Windows 8 and 10, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Experience working in a customer‑service environment.
