Dragons Academy is a next-generation, fully accredited 1-to-1 learning school for grades K to 12, offering at-home, virtual, and in-person personalized instruction to empower students and support families.

We are seeking passionate educators to deliver personalized instruction and foster curiosity, foundational skills, and independence across core subjects including science for grades 6–12. The ideal candidate will be committed to innovating beyond traditional education and helping shape the school culture and direction.

• Design immersive learning experiences across core science subjects for grades 6–12 that feel like personal journeys.
• Adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs and transform challenges into opportunities.
• Experiment with new models and tools to disrupt traditional education.
• Use assessments as instruments for growth and innovation.
• Collaborate with families to co-create individualized learning paths.
• Contribute to the school’s policies, culture, and direction.
• Engage in a role that blends teaching, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

• Bachelor’s degree in Science Education, a scientific discipline, or related field (master’s preferred).
• Valid Florida Teacher Certification in Middle Grades Science 5–9 or Science 6–12, OR a Temporary Florida Teaching Certificate with intent to complete full certification within three years of employment start date.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching or tutoring experience in middle and high school grades (preferred).
• Strong background in science instruction and inquiry-based learning.
• Experience with interdisciplinary and project-based teaching approaches.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Growth mindset, empathy for students, and enthusiasm for personalized, one-to-one learning relationships.
