OverviewRealREPP, a national full-service recruiting firm, is partnering with a well-established General Contractor based in Palm Beach, Florida to assist in hiring an experienced Estimator! This Estimator will be a crucial addition to the team and will eventually become the Lead Estimator. Prior experience as an Estimator at a GC is required. Experience estimating on public projects & k-12 projects preferred.

- Analyzes drawings and uses applicable software to perform material take-offs for detailed estimates & provides unit cost pricing
- Assists with developing project updates and bid package estimate documents’ comparison
- Tracks and adjusts quantities as needed
- Solicits subcontractor bids and partners with vendors to build relationships and obtain quotes
- Reviews RFPs, Basis of Design & drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate
- Presents information and responds to questions from internal departments
- Support Junior Estimators as required
- 5+ years of estimating experience with a GC
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management (preferred)
- Experience estimating on public projects and/or k-12 projects (strongly preferred)
- Local Florida market knowledge
- Experience with Bluebeam & Excel (required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective people management skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize competing deadlines to ensure deadlines are met
- Bilingual (Spanish) a bonus
- Salary $100-125k (based on experience)
