We are seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) delivers high quality, patient-centered care by providing a variety of delegated therapeutic services, in accordance with licensing and regulations. Under the supervision of the primary Occupational Therapist, the COTA Assistant administers therapeutic treatment and engages and supports the patient in therapeutic activities and exercise regimes. COTA strives to achieve the goals of the physician's plan of care and to support patients throughout the program.
QualificationsEducation: Degree from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited program required.
Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience in health care setting performing similar work activities preferred.
Certification/Licensure: Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the state of Florida Allied Health Professionals required. BLS, CPR required.
