Facility: Isles of Boynton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Location: Boynton Beach, FL

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay Rate: Up to $58/hour (based on experience)

Isles of Boynton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality occupational therapy services while supporting residents in achieving their highest level of independence and quality of life.

• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate occupational therapy programs and services
• Collaborate with administration, medical staff, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams
• Conduct resident evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct occupational therapy treatments in therapy areas and resident rooms
• Participate in care planning, MDS assessments, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation and billing records
• Ensure adherence to facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards
• Assist with quality assurance initiatives and performance improvement plans
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy goals and procedures
• Promote resident safety, infection control, and use of universal precautions
• Maintain therapy equipment and ensure a clean, safe treatment environment
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding plans of care and progress

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current, active, and unencumbered Florida Occupational Therapist license
• Experience as an Occupational Therapist in a hospital, nursing facility, or similar healthcare setting
• Training in rehabilitative and restorative therapy practices
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
