Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high‑quality care to our residents. • Collaborate with the rehab team to provide adaptive communication devices and train residents in their use.
• Design and implement personalized therapy activities based on resident abilities, interests, and goals.
• Develop individualized therapeutic regimens in consultation with the care team.
• Instruct residents in skill‑building activities, tracking progress and adjusting therapy as needed.
• Adapt therapy programs to meet evolving resident needs.
• Participate in care meetings, staffings, and facility events.
• Lead training for medical, nursing, and therapy staff on speech therapy techniques.
• Supervise support personnel in accordance with state and professional standards.
• Promote a compassionate environment that respects resident needs and rights.

• Graduate of an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program.
• ASHA Certification.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Florida.
• Eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC‑SLP) from ASHA.
• Nursing home experience preferred, but not required.
