The position begins with cabinet assembly and expands into fabrication, precision machining, and on-site installation through structured training and mentorship. Our shop runs SCM CNC machining centers and edge banding equipment and specializes in miter-folded casework and seamless panel construction — skills you will develop on the job.
PrimaryResponsibilities (Initial Role)

- Install hardware including hinges, drawer systems, slides, and accessories
- Read and follow shop drawings, cut lists, and assembly instructions
- Safely use hand tools and power tools
- Support machine operators with material handling, part sorting, and post-machining inspection
- Inspect parts for quality, accuracy, and finish
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Collaborate with fabricators, finishers, and installers
- Operate SCM CNC machining centers, including nesting, routing, and miter-fold V-grooving
- Run edge banding machinery, including setup, glue and edge material changeover, and finish trimming
- Master miter folding techniques for seamless edges on veneer, laminate, and specialty panels
- Operate table saws, panel saws, and other shop machinery
- Perform custom cabinet fabrication and casework construction
- Work with veneers, panels, and specialty materials
- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
- Ability to read basic drawings or willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and coachable
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
- Experience in cabinetry, woodworking, furniture, or millwork
- Expertise in miter folding and seamless panel construction
- Experience operating edge banding machinery
- Experience with CNC machining centers, particularly SCM equipment (or comparable platforms such as Biesse or Homag)
- Familiarity with European hardware systems (Blum, Grass, etc.)
- Installation or construction experience
- Competitive pay
- Hands-on training in high-end custom cabinetry and advanced panel processing
- Stable, year-round work
- Professional and respectful shop environment
- Opportunity to build a long-term career in custom fabrication
This role is ideal for individuals who want to learn a skilled trade, take pride in precision and quality, and are motivated to grow beyond basic assembly work into full custom cabinet fabrication, CNC machining, and installation
