The Clinical Partner (CP) provides basic technical nursing skills (deemed competent) and delegated tasks (e.g., wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, discontinuing a Foley catheter) under the direction and/or supervision of the registered nurse in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, Florida Statutes and BHSF policy. The CP is a valued member of the nursing team who works in close collaboration with the assigned RN to provide safe, quality patient-centered care.

Examples of nursing activities that cannot be delegated to unlicensed assistive personnel include: assessment and evaluation of the impact of interventions on patient care.

Estimated pay range for this position is $16.04 - $20.85 per hour, depending on experience.

Education / Degrees

• High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper.

Licenses & Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Additional Qualifications

• CNA or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required
• 1 year experience preferred
• Previous experience as a CNA or LPN in an acute care facility in the state of Florida, preferred
