The Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse (DPC RN) is a licensed professional who delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner, utilizing evidence-based practice standards of quality, safety and service. Core competencies include assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership and service.

Estimated salary range for this position is $33.70 - $43.81/hr depending on experience. This position is eligible for the Float Pool Differential.

• Degrees
  :
  • Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Licenses & Certifications
  :
  • Registered Nurse licensure
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Additional certifications such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate may be required per department standards.
• Additional Qualifications
  :
  • RN with an Associate’s degree may be required to obtain a BSN within policy time frames; some hires exempt per policy.
  • RN must complete a preceptor class within twelve months of being deemed competent for independent practice.
  • As per department standards, may be required to hold certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP or ONS-Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card.
