Licensed Practical Nurse; Lpn​/Certified Nurse Assistant; Cna

Job Description

We are currently seeking professionally motivated LPN's and CNA's with the ability to undertake a variety of diverse tasks relating to patient care, in a long-term care environment. Maintain excellent communication skills while working effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

LPN RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE:

• Admitting new residents
• Assisting physicians during rounds of residents’ rooms
• Assigning and delegating duties to non-licensed nursing staff
• Monitoring resident care and supervising assistive nursing staff
• Performing ongoing assessments of residents’ physical and mental health
• Explaining procedures and treatment protocols to residents
• Record a patient’s medical history accurately
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
• Monitor patients’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts
• Assist patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.
• Administer prescribed medications, clean and dress wounds etc.
• Collect samples for lab testing as ordered
• Communicate with patient's family as needed regarding care

CNA RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist nursing staff with patient care
• Feed, bathe, and dress patients
• Take patient vital signs
• Report abnormal findings concerning patient care
• Serve meals, make beds, and keep rooms clean
• Set up medical equipment and assist with some medical procedures
• Answer calls for help and observe changes in a patient's condition or behavior

PAY RANGE:

LPN ($30-$32)

CNA ($20-$22)

* AT LEAST 1 OR MORE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
