Director of Nursing
Are you a natural communicator, clinical leader, and relationship-builder looking for a Director of Nursing role that balances meaningful impact with reasonable daily demands?
iDEAL HIRE is partnering with a respected home health agency in Boynton Beach to find an engaging, poised Director of Nursing (DON). Unlike high-volume, high-stress DON positions that push clinical teams to the brink, this position centers on leadership, caregiver support, and high-touch quality assurance.
If you are an experienced RN ready to step into leadership—or an established leader seeking a role with manageable clinical volume and strong work-life balance—this is your ideal next step.
Who Fits This Role? Our client is looking for a standout personality. As the clinical face of the agency, the ideal candidate brings:
- Grounded Warmth & Professional Poise: You are approachable, diplomatic, and confident when speaking with families, caregivers, and surveyors.
- Empathetic Leadership: You know how to guide, motivate, and mentor a team of dedicated caregivers.
- Organizational Calm: You manage compliance and care plans with composure and clarity.
- Clinical Oversight: Guide agency clinical operations, maintaining high standards of personalized, in-home care without overwhelming clinical loads.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise and support a dedicated team of 40–45 active caregivers, facilitating onboarding, competency sign-offs, and routine guidance.
- Client Engagement: Perform initial and routine client assessments (roughly every 3 months) to build customized care plans and foster trusted family relationships.
- Survey & Compliance Management: Serve as the clinical lead during Joint Commission and AHCA surveys, keeping agency documentation accurate and compliant in Well Sky.
- On-Call Support: Participate in a balanced, rotating on-call schedule to support field staff as needed.
- Active, unrestricted Florida RN license (or multi-state compact).
- Experience in Home Health, Geriatrics, Long-Term Care (LTC), or Community Nursing.
- Working knowledge of AHCA regulations and Joint Commission standards.
- Familiarity with EMR systems (Well Sky experience is a plus!).
- Exceptional interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
If you want to lead a compassionate team, act as the trusted face of an agency, and enjoy a role designed for sustainability rather than burnout, we want to speak with you.
