Crew Member, Restaurant​/Food Service

Jersey Mike's Subs is hiring Crew Members and Shift Leaders for part‑time and full‑time positions. We are looking to hire immediately and are committed to delivering a one‑of‑a‑kind customer service experience.

Crew members help with customer needs as they enter and interact in the store. Employees work the front counter, provide customer service, make sandwiches, and interact with co‑workers on a continual basis. The expectation of any employee is to uphold the highest level of all operational standards.

• Provide food that meets specifications and high‑quality standards
• Provide service that is above and beyond for the customer
• Maintain a clean store and workplace
• Set up the store, including food preparation
• Food safety and sanitation, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, etc.
• Usage of slicer (18 years old and above only)
• Usage of tomato slicer (17 years old and above only)
• Follow directives of Operations Partner in execution of responsibilities

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers and co‑workers on a consistent basis

• 0–1 year experience in food service
• 0–1 year experience in cash handling

• Incumbent performs constant vigorous physical tasks requiring long periods of standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and lifting, all generally involving moderate muscular strain in addition to seeing, hearing, and talking. Safely using all store food preparation equipment for long periods with the required application of eye, hand and finger dexterity. Must be able to lift and carry up to at least fifty (50) pounds unassisted.
