Overview
Position:
Store Support role at The Home Depot. Associates in Store Support positions perform a variety of non-sales functions. This may include ensuring an outstanding customer order fulfillment experience, assisting customers in the lot, or providing administrative services. Direct customer or vendor interaction is sometimes required. These positions work cooperatively with other Associates, vendors, and carriers, with little/some supervision. They should be detail-oriented, have proven time management skills, and maintain a high level of integrity while focusing on store-specific business objectives and supporting key operational responsibilities.
Specific positions may include:
Office Associate, Order Fulfillment Associate, Lot Associate, and Customer Service Representative.
- Assist with non-sales activities that support customer satisfaction and store operations, including order fulfillment and administrative tasks.
- Direct customers to store departments or merchandise and answer questions on product order status.
- Support cash management or program compliance as applicable and coordinate with vendors or carriers when needed.
- Work with other Associates to address operational concerns and meet store objectives.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others and operate with little/some supervision.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction and store goals.
- Experience in non-sales or customer service roles is beneficial.
