Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T2210)

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $16.00 USD per hour

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is requested.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store to resolve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for their visit.
• Know and discuss the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain how to use Target App features, including Wallet, and assist with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
• Assist with returns by following register prompts and collaborating with leadership to resolve guest needs in line with policy.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and manage stock during store hours as needed.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance at all times.
• Operate in a safe manner and report hazards; support compliance with policies and training.
• Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up, and related duties, including compliance with applicable laws.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; remain focused and composed while handling multiple tasks.
• Capacity to handle checkout operations, including transactions and cash-office support as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally, with or without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule and reliable attendance; ability to remain mobile during shift.
