Operations Associate at JCPenney is an early morning role that creates an outstanding customer experience by performing store operations functions prior to opening.

• Customer Service – Assist customers quickly while maintaining a fast pace.
• Pricing & Signing – Change ticket prices and sign merchandise efficiently.
• Store Replenishment – Restock merchandise on the sales floor to ensure styles and sizes are available.
• Merchandise Receipt – Work with co‑workers to unload truck and prepare merchandise in the backroom.
• Backroom Standards – Keep the stockroom safe, clean, and organized.
• Omnichannel – Contribute to Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, Order Delivery, Returns, and Shipping Online Orders.
• Merchandise Strategy – Execute leadership‑communicated plans for merchandise placement with efficiency and detail.
• Learning Environment – Absorb new information from training materials and peers.

• Results – Solve problems and make smart decisions that drive sales, profit, or customer service.
• Ownership – Provide great customer service; cooperate and build positive relationships.
• Intensity – Proactively find ways to improve the customer experience and take action with energy.
• Experience – 1–2 years retail experience.
