Position: ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Home Health Executive Sales Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with the physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities’ management, discharge planners, and case managers to promote our homecare services for Medicare and Private Duty Nursing.
  • Conduct in-services, presentations, educational sessions, host and attend relevant events by introducing our home health care services to physicians, patients, their families, facility staff and other referral sources.
  • Coordinate and complete on-site discharge planning when needed.
  • Perform an initial territory market analysis and required business development plans quarterly/annually. Develop, implement, and evaluate all marketing/sales activities for the company services.
  • Develop and establish new business referral sources consistently.
  • Maintain current relationships with referral sources and meet regularly with the clinical team.
  • Identify and implement market strategies with sales and clinical teams resulting in continued census growth.
  • Maintain knowledge of Medicare and State specific home health care regulations.
  • Obtain physician's order for specified treatments and participate in the referral process.
  • Prepare business plans and maintain target lists. Prioritize accounts according to the market sales plan.
  • Gather and organize account-related information and provide input on key customer opportunities, service line extensions and proposal or contract pricing.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a health-related science (e.g., nursing, pharmacy, etc.) or the equivalent plus a minimum of two years health care or related industry sales experience generally required.
  • Excellent selling, organization, problem-solving skills, and the ability to appropriately represent the Company service capabilities to the targeted referral source audience is required.
  • Previous healthcare sales experience preferred such as selling in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), DME, ortho, cardio, etc. OR previous experience as a clinical liaison preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills required. Microsoft Office proficiency required.
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory and to sales meetings as required.
